Nomthandazo Guzula is a language and literacy teacher at Lathi-tha School of Skills, in Khayelitsha. She is interested in bilingualism and bilingual education. She has been involved in school based reading clubs, both at her own school and at Injongo Primary School. She has recently started a bilingual reading club in Kuilsriver library together with other volunteers. She enjoys introducing children to libraries and during school holidays she usually participates in holiday programmes of the #Stars of Today Literacy Club which usually takes place at Harare Library in Khayelitsha. Lastly, Nomthandazo has just registered for a diploma in Library and Information Science and hopes that this will make her the best children’s librarian.
