Experiencing Problems

ICS team has created a new password management portal for students and staff.  The site is reasonably self explanatory and the prerequisites are stated up front on the site homepage.
Please note that users must be able to log in to their UWC assigned email account before they can use this system to change their password.  A link is emailed to their UWC email address which enables them to change their password.
Experiencing problems logging onto our databases via EZproxy from off-campus? Please contact the ICS Service Desk at or phone (021) 959 9557 the e-Resources Librarian (Anne Moon) at or phone (021) 959-3016. . Please provide your date of birth and student number or ID number.

Welcome School of Public Health Distance students

Welcome to the University of the Western Cape Library Distance Information Guide for students, faculty, staff, and researchers. The library has a goal of providing the same or similar level of resources and services to those learning, teaching, working, or researching off-campus. Although you may not be able to physically get to the library, you can still access books, journals, and other media either by requesting to have them delivered to you electronically or having them mailed to you. Please take your time and review this information guide to help you get to know the library and how it can make your life a little bit easier.
