Research Basics is a free, self-paced online research skills course intended to help you build your research skills and prepare for college work. The course consists of three modules focused on effective searching, establishing credibility, and citing scholarly work. Each module has three sections, and each section includes a 10-minute video overview of the topic. After watching each video, use a set of practice questions to test what you've learned and then take an assessment quiz for the full module. Upon the successful completion of a module quiz, you earn a virtual badge! |

Understanding Shakespeare (labs.jstor.org/shakespeare) is a collaboration between the JSTOR Labs team and the Folger Shakespeare Library, and provides links from the full-text of the plays to the Shakespeare scholarship on JSTOR. Pick a play, click on a line, and instantly see a list of articles on JSTOR that reference the text. The site includes all 38 Shakespeare plays, and navigation options provide quick links to explore the plays by type: comedies, tragedies, histories, and romances. |
