This guide, Introduction to Research in Law, has been designed to provide some guidance on how to prepare and start a research project. It has talked about the importance of thinking about the suitability of a research project, and the importance, and role, of a literature review. Throughout the research process, it is important to continually review and reflect, analyse results, and interrogate sources of information. One of the most challenging aspects of research however is knowing when enough information has been gathered, and when to move onto the next stage of writing up.
