Notes: Follow these examples closely for all layout, punctuation, spacing, capitalising, and italicising.
When including a figure or a table from another source in your work, it is important to include appropriate notes to acknowledge copyright attributions. A copyright attribution must be included in the table note or figure note indicating the origin of the reprinted or adapted material in addition to a reference list entry for the work. The APA Citing and Referencing Library Guide (on the left hand side of this page) provides referencing information for many different forms of scholarly sources.
