Open Educational Resources (OER) repositories are online platforms that provide free and openly licensed educational materials, enabling access to a wide range of learning resources.

OER Africa aims to promote the use and sharing of Open Educational Resources (OER) within the African education community. Their repository includes a wide range of educational materials, and users can narrow their search by education level, material type (e.g., textbooks, lessons), and subject to find relevant resources. |

DOAJ is a community-curated list of open access journals and aims to be the starting point for all information searches for quality, peer reviewed open access material. It contains approximately 10000 open access journals covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social science and humanities. |

This OER is part of the supporting mechanism to create an Open Educational Resource (OER) that illustrates the working environment of the University of the Western Cape (UWC) Library. The OER forms part of a UNESCO grant-funded project facilitated by the South African Centre for Digital Languages Resources (SADiLaR) located at North-West University (NWU). |
