Religious texts

Basic structure: 

Full title. Year. Place of publication: Publisher.

The Holy Bible: New International Version. 1992. Cape Town: Bible Society of South Africa.

Name of religious text, Book. Sura or Chapter: Verse. e.g. from the bible.

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" (The Holy Bible: New International Version, Genesis. 1:1)

Note: Harvard referencing style does not require you to use page numbers when citing religious texts.

Citing theses/dissertations 

Basic structure:  

Author. Year. Title in italics. Level. Name of the University.

Conference papers

Basic structure:  

Authorship.  Year. Full title of conference paper. In: followed by editor or name of organisation, Full title of conference. Location, Date, Place of publication: Publisher.

Conference report

A conference report is referenced differently from a conference paper. For a conference report you must provide only the following information:

Basic structure:  

Authorship/author, editor or organisation. Year. Full title of conference report. Location, Date, Place of publication: Publisher.
