Information Literacy Tutorial

A module-based information literacy tutorial that addresses each stage of the research process, including selecting a topic, identifying information needs, selecting sources, locating information, evaluating information, and citing sources.

Learning Objectives

The student will evaluate information using the following criteria:

Authority of the author or producer
Currency of the content
Supporting documentation
Purpose of the work
Review process as a form of quality control
